For me the meaning of physiotherapy is to help others to make full use of their body and to feel good in their skin. What I appreciate most about my work is that I can see the results of it and I can help improve someone’s life and its quality.
At work I utilize different manual therapy techniques but movement and exercise is the core of my therapy. I strive to always tailor exercises according to each clients individual needs (physical and mental health, work load etc.). For me that’s the most effective way how my clients can implement new exercises, techniques and knowledge into their everyday life so they can use the full potential of physiotherapy.
I work mainly with adults and I focus on respiratory therapy, therapy of post-operative and post-traumatic conditions or sports therapy. I also deal with patients with facial nerve palsy (Bell palsy) or vestibular dysfunction.
I am a barefoot enthusiast and I am interested in tele–health. I have been spreading awareness of physiotherapy through social networks.
